Snappy prepares your project's AI development environment
Snappy is a desktop app for the coding agents you already use. It prepares, audits, and maintains the instructions, skills, tools, and checks your project gives Claude Code and Codex, so they produce better work with less supervision. You keep coding in your own tools.
What Snappy does
- Reads your project on your computer: its purpose, existing AI setup, coding tools, and conventions.
- Recommends improvements drawn from a researched library of techniques and workflows, adapted to your project and explained before anything changes.
- Prepares native configuration for the coding tools your team uses, keeping your own instructions and edits.
- Verifies that each tool actually loads what Snappy prepared, and lets you undo any change.
- Keeps the environment current as your project, its dependencies, and the tools change.
- Helps you define a new project in conversation and sets it up from the start.
Built for teams using Git
The environment Snappy prepares is committed with your project, so teammates receive it when they pull, and their own coding agents work with it.
What it costs
Reading your project and Snappy's automatic maintenance checks run locally, need no account, and cost nothing. Work that uses Snappy's own AI models is paid from prepaid credit: before each operation you see an estimate and set a spending limit, and the receipt lists model usage and Snappy's service fee separately.
Where it runs
Snappy runs on macOS now; Windows follows. It works on your project folders locally; its hosted agents act on them only through the app, which enforces their limits. The personal and billing data Snappy keeps stays in the EU.
